5.1.1 Heaven-and-earth (is) not humane and kind.
(It) treats all things as straw dogs for sacrifice.
5.1.2 The sage is not humane and kind.
(He) treats the common people as straw dogs for sacrifice.
5.2.1 In between heaven-and-earth,
is it like the bellow (and) tubes for the furnace air blower?
5.2.2 (It is) void (within) yet (it will) not bend (and collapse).
(The more it) moves, and the more comes out (of it).
5.3 Speaking too much (about something brings) a (dead) end to the numerological (changes of it).
Better keep to the middle.
