8.1.1 The highest good is like water.
8.1.2 Water is good in (bringing) benefit to all things without striving.
(And it) stays (in) where the multitudes loathe.
8.1.3 So (it is) almost (equal) to Tao.
8.2.1 (He) dwells in good places.
(His) mind (is) good in (diving) deep (into the awareness).
8.2.2 (He) gets along with good men.
(His) speech (is) good (being) trustworthy.
8.2.3 (Being) just, (he is) good (in) governing.
(He has) good ability (in doing) things.
(His) moves are at good timing.
8.3 Oh! Only (when) not striving,
then (you will be) blameless.
