14.1.1 Look at it, (yet) nothing is seen. (This is) named (and) said as subtle.
Listen to it, (yet) nothing is heard. (This is) named (and) said as silence.
Touch it, (yet) nothing (can) be gained. (This is) named (and) said as flatness.
14.1.2 These three cannot be inquired.
14.1.3 So (they) whirled to become one.
14.2.1 Above it (is) not bright and white.
Beneath it (is) not dim.
(Extending) continuously like a rope, (it) cannot (be) named.
14.2.2 (And it) returns back to (the state of) no things (in existence),
14.2.3 which is called the stateless state.
14.3.1 (This) phenomenon of (the state of) no things (in existence),
is called the transitory (state) - in an instant (and) in an flash.
14.3.2 Follow it (but can) not see its back.
(Go to) meet it (but can) not see its head.
14.3.3 (By) holding (to) the Tao (at) present,
to administer Beings of the present.
(And) with (which) to know (how it) begins (in) ancient (times).
This is called the threads (of) Tao.
