19.1.1 Sever from the wise and abandon laws,
(then) the people (will) benefit a hundredfold.
19.1.2 Sever from fine crafts and abandon profit,
(then) robbers (and) thieves (will) not exist.
19.1.3 Sever from artificial (things and behavior and) abandon deliberation,
(then) the people will return to (be like) young children.
19.2.1 These three sayings are not sufficient to be written as articles of decree,
19.2.2 (so) maybe as verbal order,
19.2.3 or include them (under other laws).
19.3.1 See purity (and) maintain simplicity.
19.3.2 (Be) less egocentric (and have) few desires.
19.3.3 Sever from learning (and there will be) no anxiety.
