(yet) its use (is) not ragged or decaying.
45.1.2 A great vessel full of water seems empty in the middle,
(yet) its use (is) not poor or exhaustible.
45.1.3 Great skill seems clumsy.
Great ending of a symphony seems suddenly mute.
Long straightness seems crooked.
45.2 (In) rash, (one) can bear cold.
(In) silence, (one) can bear heat.
45.3 Clear (and) silent (mind) is the chief (of) the world.
