48.1.1 The learner gains day (after day).
(But) he who acts (in accord to) Tao is impaired day (after day).
48.1.2 Impaired and again impaired,
until he (completely) let go.
48.1.3 (Always) let go and yet (there is) nothing (he) does not do it for.
48.2 To take the world, (one should) always (take it) with noninterference in (state) affairs.
When he engages (himself) in (state) affairs,
(he will) not be able to take the world.
