51.1.1 Tao breeds it,
and virtue harnesses it.
51.1.2 Things shape it,
and forms shaped accomplish it.
51.2.1 This is why all things (in creation) honor Tao and value virtue.
51.2.2 (This) honor of Tao,
(and) noble value of virtue,
though no one confers a noble rank (to them), are always (so) naturally.
51.3.1 So Tao breeds it,
(and) harnesses it.
Grows it (and) smoothes its (way).
Rears it to be upright (and) disciplines it.
Feeds it (and) shelters it.
51.3.2 To be and not to have.
Do (things) but (do) not presume (as the doer).
(Be) elder but do not dominate.
51.3.3 This is called the virtue (and gaining) of Hsuan.
