| 67.1.1 |
All the world call me great, (but it) seems
(that I am) not resembling (the great). |
| 67.1.2 |
Oh! Exactly because (one is) great, so (it)
seems (that he does) not resemble (the great). |
| 67.1.3 |
If
resembling, then already (he) is petty. |
| 67.2.1 |
I
have three treasures, |
|
(which I) hold and treasure it. |
|
The first is said to be love and
compassion. The second is said to be self-restraint. The third
is said to be not daring to be ahead of the world. |
| 67.2.2 |
(With) love and compassion, so (one) can be
courageous. |
|
(With) self-restraint, so (one) can be
broad. |
|
Not daring to be ahead of the world, so
(one) can accomplish things and grow. |
| 67.2.3 |
Now put aside love and compassion (and) just
(take) courage. Put aside self-restraint (and) just (take)
broadness. Put aside (being) behind (and) just be ahead. Dead
indeed! |
| 67.3.1 |
Oh! Fight with love and compassion then (gain)
victory. Defense with (love and compassion) then be
secured. |
| 67.3.2 |
Heaven will rescue him, |
| 67.3.3 |
stand guard for him with love and
compassion. |
