Zhuo Yi Hang was walking back one day & saw a beautiful women bathing in the water. Her gracefulness attracted his attention (It was Yu Luo Sha & she was dancing sort of a water-ballet - doing somersaults in the water!). On that very day, both fell in love with each other probably without even knowing it. They met Xiao Xiao who initially was paid to kill Yu Luo Sha but ended up as her disciple after losing a bet to Yi Hang.

Yi Hang was told that Wu Dang & other sects has set a trap to kill Yu Luo Sha. Yi Hang wanted to get a good explanation from her (for what she did to his grandfather) but was totally shocked to find out that Yu Luo Sha is actually the girl he met at the pool. He saved her from getting killed and was accused by his older fellow disciple Geng Shao Nan to be a betrayer to Wu Dang.

This is only the start of their love-hate relationship... Although they loved each other, misunderstandings after misunderstandings keep occuring... Mu Rong Chong, an evil & highly-skilled man, could change himself into any form. He transformed himself into the look of Yu Luo Sha and killed Yi Hang's teacher. Yi Hang immediately ran to where Ni Shang was & pointed a sword at her, but he coudn't bring himself to kill the women he loved. However as Wu Dang was always very important to him, he sever all ties with Ni Shang....

Well, Yi Hang thought that he was really wrong in loving Ni Shang, and willingly let his 2nd teacher (Bai Shi Lao Dao) destroy his skills. This part really made me cry a lot... I was watching it over the internet and it was a terrible 10 minutes.... Yi Hang wanted to pay his last respect to his teacher, but was ordered to crawl past the entire Wu Dang members. They kicked, beat & shouted at him as he crawled past them. They decided to hang him in front of the other sects. Yi Hang was already hanging from the rope around his neck (about to die anytime) when Yu Luo Sha came to save him. However, he left Ni Shang, still blaming her for his teacher's death.

He was unable to regain his skills. Everytime he tried to use his internal skills, his bones will just start to crack... This is the point when he wanted to die to end all sufferings... He was chased by Wu Dang members but was saved by Poison Lady (who fell in love with him & took care of him for some time). He didn't want her to save him, so left secretly.

He went drinking & couldn't pay the bill. He ended up being a waiter at the inn, and they called him 'Fa Cai'. Another waitress there was being bullied by some thugs, and Yi Hang tried to help her but couldn't do much coz when he used his internal skills, his bones were cracking inside. He felt extremely useless & helpless.... The waitress was consoling him when Xiao Xiao & Ni Shang saw him... He started running away from them. Ni Shang got hold of hiim, hugged him and said that she won't leave him no matter what.

Some Wu Dang members saw him & they started fighting. This time, Poison Lady was here to save Yi Hang again. After Yi Hang left Poison Lady for the second time, Wu Dang members chased up with him again, and the Wu Dang leader that time (Geng Shao Nan) pushed Yi Hang off the cliff. Everyone thought he was dead. Ni Shang wanted to jump down the cliff but was stopped by Mu Rong Chong (who by then had pretended to be a gentleman to get close to Ni Shang).

Yi Hang didn't die and was saved by Tie Shanhu (a spoilt girl, leader of the Tie Jia Zhuang). They called him Fa Cai coz he said he has no name. He was a coward there, not like the courageous Zhuo Yi Hang everyone knows. He was often bullied by some thugs and was seen as a guy with no backbone, a total coward! His friend Tie Dan, a servant at the Tie Jia Zhuang, tried to teach him some skills, but when he tried to use some strength, his bones started to crack again... He was living a life worse than death.. He only wanted to die, so couldn't be bothered much about how others looked at him.

Again, more & more misunderstandings that'll make viewers want to watch episode after episode..... There are too many things that happened and it's really impossible to write out everything.... This show is full of laughter (everytime when Xiao Xiao & Miao Hui Chun appears, they are bound to get pple laughing!! Also, Tu Dou & Tie Shan Hu are also a very funny young pair to match the older Xiao & Miao) & also full of very touching scenes. "Xiao Zhong You Lei, Lei Zhong You Xiao" (Tears within laughter, laughter within tears). All I can say is, if you haven't watched the show yet, please get the VCD!! Probably I'll say a little about episodes 28-30, coz they are rather touching:

Ni Shang (falling to the ploy of Wei Zhong Xian) 'found out' that her father was killed by Wu Dang's ex-leader Zhi Yang Dao Zhang (which is Yi Hang's teacher) and she was told by her 'mother' to avenge her father. She decided to kill off Wu Dang Sect, who made her an orphan brought up by wolves.... Halfway through her killing of Wu Dang, Yi Hang tried to stop her. somehow, they ended up fighting with each other & Yi Hang accidentally jabbed a sword into Ni Shang... She was utterly depressed that to Yi Hang, Wu Dang is still more important to him than her... Her hair turned white overnight, and from then on, she was known as the 'White-Hair Demoness'. Yi Hang also gave up his position as the leader of Wu Dang & went searching for a miracle flower which could change Ni Shang's hair back to black. He found the flower after 3 years & was waiting for the flower to bloom (it could bloom today, tomorrow or 60 years later - nobody knows!). He sat day & night at the cold snow mountain & also fell unconscious because of the cold... His good friends Xiao Xiao & Miao Hui Chun tried ways to get him to come down from the mountain but he was very persistent.

Ni Shang still loved him deeply but didn't show it. on the outside, she wanted him dead and wanted a duel with him. During the duel, as Yi Hang wanted to make up for what he did to her, he didn't retaliate at all. Ni Shang's sword went right through him. He was on the verge of death when Ni Shang finally confessed that she has never stopped loving him, and that there's hatred only because there's love.... This part is a little like Romeo & Juliet. Yi Hang was saying just before he fell to the ground, " Why didn't you tell me earlier??.... ". Ni Shang ran to hold him in her arms....

Continuation of the Storyline --

Decided to continue the storyline from here due to overwhelming requests hehe... ok, so after Ni Shang ran to and held Yi Hang in her arms as he fell to the ground.... Yi Hang said that he's been waiting for her to stab him for the past 3 years. He didn't expect that she still actually loves him a
lot. He knows he cannot make it, and then he dies in her arms!

Just then, Xiao Xiao & Miao Hui Chun came along looking for Yi Hang. They saw Ni Shang, holding Yi Hang (dead) and asked her 'Who killed him? Tell me and I'll take revenge for him!!' Ni Shang only said "It's me! I'm the one who killed him!" Then she asked Miao Hui Chun if there's ANY way to save him.
Miao said that she heard that the flower (that Yi Hang was waiting for, that could turn Ni Shang's hair back to black) had miraculous power. It could make people come back from the dead.

Ni Shang immediately went to where the flower is, and cried in front of it. She begged it to bloom, coz Yi Hang cannot wait anymore. She keeps asking Heaven to give Yi Hang back to her..... Then an old man (the same one Yi Hang met when he first went to the mountain - I think this old man is some sort of diety) saw her crying, and told her that if she wants the flower to bloom, she'll have to kill herself in front of the flower. She is of course willing to do it, because without Yi Hang she also wouldn't want to live anymore. So she raises up her hand to strike her head... but before she could do that, the old man
'shoots' a yellow light at her, and it hits her hand, reflecting the yellow light onto the flower (i'm not sure if u understand what i'm saying hehe), the flower got struck by that light and starts to bloom. Ni Shang was just in total shock. She thanks the old man and then plucks out the flower.

Back to the room, Yi Hang is lying on the bed, everyone waiting for Miao Hui Chun to come back. She comes back and carries a bowl of medicine, prepared from the flower. Ni Shang feeds Yi Hang but nothing seem to happen. Xiao Xiao blames Miao Hui Chun for it, saying that she's a useless doctor etc. Ni Shang asks everyone to shut up and leave the room. She has 'some words to say to Yi Hang'. All left and she walks to him, talks to him and later (slowly) went to get a dagger and sleeps beside him. She holds his hands and said that they'll be together forever. Then she raises the dagger slowly and
pokes it towards her body. But JUST before it reaches her chest, she suddenly stops and looks at Yi Hang! Why? Because she felt his hand moving!! Yep, so Yi Hang woke up from the dead!

Then in the next episode or something, all of them (Yi Hang, Ni Shang, Xiao Xiao, Tu Dou, Tie Shanhu, Tie Feilong....) met a young girl and her grandmother. They walked into the inn, disguising as beggars and looked very pitiful. The waiters there were very bad towards them. Tu Dou saw it and pitied them. He helped them but was repayed with a blow (from the old grandmother). She's actually a powerful woman who's good at a certain type of poison. She was working for Chen Kui, Murong Chong and Honghua Guimu. The little girl is called 'Gui Wa Wa'. Then Tu Dou, Shan Hu and Xiao Xiao as well as
Shan Hu's father (Tie Feilong) got poisoned. They only had a few more days to live. Yi Hang and Ni Shang tried to get the antidote from the old lady but failed.

Gui Wa Wa little girl likes Yi Hang too, and she tries to help him get the antidote, but she's a playful girl. At first she gave him a fake antidote, but the second time it's a health strengthening pill, that could
prolong the lives of those infected with the poison. Meanwhile although Gui Wawa tried to steal the antidote from her grandmother, she didn't manage to because her grandmother knows her too well. Instead, Yi Hang also received a blow from the grandmother and also got the poison!!

Yi Hang met his 2nd teacher "Bai Shi Lao Dao" (white rock) and it's so wierd coz' Bai Shi didn't seem to be affected by the poison. He once stole a manual (a fake one) and learnt it, so he became a little crazy, and his skills became very wierd. Probably becoz' of this, he wasn't afraid of the poison, and even when the Old Grandmother hit him with a blow, he didn't get hurt a little bit.

When Ni Shang found out that Yi Hang also got poisoned, she decides to ask Murong Chong for it (since she knows Murong Chong still loves her). Murong Chong said that if she marries him, after the marriage, he'll give her the antidote to save Yi Hang. Yi Hang found out about it and ran to Murong
Chong's place. He told Ni Shang that he'd rather not have the antidote and to be together with her. She wanted to go off with Yi Hang but was pulled away by Murong Chong.

Then alone with Murong Chong, she told him that if Yi Hang dies that night, she'll NEVER marry him. So Murong Chong feels threatened and gave her the antidote. She told Gui Wa Wa to send it back to Yi Hang. Becoz' of this, Yi Hang & everyone else are healed. They went to Murong Chong's place to try to save Ni Shang but couldn't find anyone there, so they gave chase and found them in the woods (Murong Chong, Honghua Guimu, Chen Kun).

While they were fighting, Bai Shi Lao Dao appeared. He fought with Chen Kun and was killed. Just before his death, he remembers everything he did and apologises to Yi Hang and Tu Dou. Then the old grandmother brought Gui Wa Wa away, telling her that they'll no longer bother with matters of the martial arts world anymore. Gui Wa Wa kept calling 'da ge ge' (Big Brother - meaning Yi Hang)
as she was dragged away by her grandmother. Yi Hang just looks at her as she calls. (this part is quite touching to me)

Chen Kun overheard Honghua Guimu telling Huo Tiandu that Murong Chong is Huo's son. He was furious as Honghua had once told him that Murong Chong was HIS son... Now she says that it is Huo's son. He then kidnaps Murong Chong and also kidnaps Tie Shanhu, and locked them up in the prison. Huo & Honghua came to save Murong Chong and actually held Shanhu captive. Then Huo saw Ni Shang (his lover's disciple) and decided to spare Shanhu. Instead, he arranges a duel (fair one) with Yi Hang & Ni Shang. Both agreed to a fair duel the next day.

Wang Zhaoxi and Meng Qiuxia wanted to set a trap to kill off Huo Tiandu (because he's one of the 'nv zhenren' trying to raid their country). But Ni Shang insisted that they have a fair duel.

The next day, they arrived at the arranged place for a duel. Ni Shang and Yi Hang together fought with Huo. Just when they were at the climax of fighting, Wang Zhaoxi & Meng Qiuxia appeared and they've actually set booby traps on the ground there. Because of this, Huo died. Zhaoxi & Qiuxia also got seriously injured by Huo. Although Ni Shang was quite angry with Wang Zhaoxi & Qiuxia, but Zhaoxi explained that they did it for their country. Both Zhaoxi & Qiuxia died there too - for their country!

Honghua Guimu could sense someting was wrong and she rushed to the scene but saw Huo dead. She fought with them and also died there. She begs Ni Shang to let her son (her precious treasure, Murong Chong) off. After everyone left the scene there, Murong Chong came and was devastated at the death of his mother. It seems that the only danger that they have now is 'Murong Chong'. He seems
to have disappeared and may be planning something big....
