Allback Fears

Marcus Allback faces a fitness race ahead of Saturdayˇ¦s Premiership clash with Sunderland, after limping out of Swedenˇ¦s 2-1 defeat against Croatia last night.

The Villa striker picked-up a thigh injury in the friendly clash and will face treatment on his return to Bodymoor Heath.

Allback, who grabbed his third goal in three outings at Everton last weekend, commented: ˇ§I felt my thigh go after just ten minutes. I could not make any runs I should probably not have played at all. Hopefully it will feel better tomorrow.ˇ¨
