Nantes have declared an interest in Swedish winger Christian Wilhelmsson.
Wilhelmsson looks set to leave Anderlecht this summer with the Belgian club willing to listen to offers for the player.
A number of clubs are chasing Wilhelmsson's signature with Paris Saint Germain, Tottenham and Rennes all linked with him in the past.
Anderlecht's director of sport Herman van Holsbeeck has warned Nantes face a fight to land Wilhelmsson with the winger impressing at the World Cup.
"If Nantes are interested, they are far from an agreement," Holsbeeck told AFP.
"I would be surprised if Nantes has an agreement with the player himself. "
"In fact, Christian's performances at the World Cup make Nantes' mission harder. "
"Today, I have received two new offers for him. "
"Those two clubs are able to pay the right price. "
"I had advised Nantes to sign him before the World Cup. "
"Christian's performance against Trinidad & Tobago make me think I am right. "
"Every day will make their (Nantes) mission harder."
