against Italy.
The Swedes set Group C alight with a marvellous 5-0 belting of Bulgaria on Monday night after Italy and Denmark had shared the spoils in a goalless draw. However, Lucic looked strangely off key and was replaced before the interval by the hugely impressive Christian Wilhelmsson.
The Swedish camp have revealed that the Bayer Leverkusen defender was actually suffering from a rib problem. It had been speculated that the former Leeds United man was below par because he was struggling to cope with the oppressive heat in Portugal.
