Lagerback in confident mood
Sweden coach Lars Lagerback has issued a warning to England, confident his side have goals in them as they prepare for Tuesday's clash.
Lagerback was left mightily relieved following Freddie Ljungberg's winner against Paraguay on Thursday, especially given his side failed to convert any of the 26 chances they created against Trinidad & Tobago in their Group B opener.
The Scandinavians have yet to ensure their progression to the last 16 and Lagerback will be urging his side to claim a win in midweek, that would see his side top the group.
In fact, Lagerback is so confident in his forwards' ability to break down any defence, he has claimed that they should be looking to score between two and three goals every game.
''We've played rather well and created a lot of chances,'' said Lagerback.
''If we do the same in the next one, we ought to score two or three goals in a game with this amount of chances.
''I don't know if a goal has any effect psychologically.
''I'm pleased with the way we've played except we haven't scored many goals. We haven't been good enough to score goals.
''Otherwise, the players have played two very good matches.''
