Allback Eyes Another Start

Marcus Allback last night conceded Saturday・s Hawthorns stalemate was a ．scrappy・ affair, then set his sights on retaining his place in the Villa starting 11.

The Swedish international was rewarded for his first Premiership goal a week earlier with a rare start against West Brom, but was unable to add to his tally.

Allback, who made way for Darius Vassell during the second-half, reflected: ：I didn't have any good chances, but I am pleased with the way I played.

：I think I won about ten free-kicks. It was a really scrappy match with many kicks from behind. I just hope that I will play from the start against West Ham.；
