Mjallby Eyes Return

Johan Mjallby could be seen running up and down the turf on Sunday afternoon before Celtic's 4-0 win over Partick Thistle.

The Swedish defender has returned to his native country for a few days off this week and was taking part in a running session before heading off.

The 31-year-old is well on schedule for a return to the first-team by December, and his presence will be a further bonus for Martin O'Neill.

Meanwhile, Magnus Hedman continues to make good progress in his rehabilitation and there were no fresh injury worries after the weekend's action.
