Sweden must still get better - Ibrahimovic
Zlatan Ibrahimovic believes Sweden must improve to prosper in their forthcoming FIFA World Cup qualifying campaign.
Ibrahimovic hit his 10th goal in 28 internationals to secure a 2-2 draw in Wednesday night's friendly against Holland and deny new Dutch coach Marco van Basten a debut win.
But despite the draw against the Euro 2004 semi-finalists, Ibrahimovic feels his team must play better in their crucial World Cup qualifiers, beginning against Malta and Croatia next month.
"To score two goals against such a good nation as Holland is very strong but in the future we must develop our play if we are to succeed in big tournaments," said the striker, who netted twice during Euro 2004.
Ibrahimovic also had a hand in Sweden's opener, dribbling through the Dutch defence before setting up Norwich striker Mattias Jonson for his eighth goal in 42 appearances.
Holland substitute Wesley Sneijder, who had come on for the injured Rafael van der Vaart, cancelled out Jonson's opener with a delightful left-footed shot before Mark van Bommel headed in from close range to put the Dutch ahead.
Arsenal midfielder Fredrik Ljungberg, meanwhile, shelved his customary wide berth for a central midfield role.
"I enjoyed playing my new role and created some good chances and with a little luck I could have scored," said the 27-year-old, who netted for the Premiership champions in their 4-1 win at Everton last Sunday.
"Also, no-one got injured. You always take a risk when leaving your club for a friendly international because the manager and the supporters don't like to see you coming back home injured."
