Post-Dortmund Reaction from Ljungberg

FREDRIK LJUNGBERG

...on playing as a striker...
"We played a little bit differently. It was mostly so I could drop back when they had the ball because we were playing a good opponent. I've played like that with Sweden and it works well sometimes, but when you get one free-kick and one penalty against you it is not easy."

...on the penalty...
"I haven't seen it on television but from what I have heard a lot of people have been disappointed with the decision. I can't change it but it is disappointing."

...on experiencing four defeats in a row...
"I haven't, not that I can recall. The important thing to remember is that we played well against Blackburn and we played the German champions tonight. We knew it was going to be a difficult game and some small decisions didn't go our way. I am very disappointed, but I hope to get a result on Sunday at Fulham."

...on ending that run...
"We know how we can play football. The important thing is that we don't think too much about what we are doing wrong, just keep on playing. If you look at the game last weekend we had a lot of chances and I don't know why they didn't go in. I have all respect for Fulham but, if we play like that, I hope we can get a couple of goals."

...on the chances of a backlash...
"I hope there will be because all the players are really motivated and everyone wants to do well. We are disappointed that we are not winning, but hopefully if we can get a couple of goals we can start winning again." 1
