"Oh! Look! There is a cottage over there!" cried my friend, Angle, as we were running in the rain. In front of us was a ruined cottage without any light inside.
We passed through the garden in front of the cottage. Reaching the door, we knocked at it but there is no reply. Then we found that someone would shout at us at any moment. In the hall, we gathered our courage and shouted out, "Anybody here?" Nut still, no one replied.
The silence was broken by the sound of a terrible voice. W...e...l...c...o...m...e...!" Just then, the light went out, and came out a cold, icy voice behind the door. "This is your last moment of life and you are destined to die before mid-night!!" We turned around quickly and saw a man dressed in dark clothes standing in front of us. At that moment, we could have a clear look at his face.
He had two sharp teeth sticking out of his mouth with blood stains on them. It gave us the appearance of a vampire!
We stared at each other for a moment. The screams of Angela brought me back to the earth. I found my voice and shouted, "Run for your life, Angela. Quick, follow me!"
I was running out of the cottage as fast as my legs could take me and without stopping to gain my breath. When I was in the garden, I turned and had a look at Angela because I was sure that she did not follow me. I saw that some vampires were swarming around her. Just then I felt something touch my neck. Turning around, what I saw was two blood-stained teeth......
It was at this desperate moment that I woke and found that the sun was up and sending his golden sunbeams bathing my room, I was glad that after all it was but a nightmare!!
