Episode 24- Fiery Decision

- The boy is now in front of Suzaku's court.

- Miaka and the seishi perform the ceremony. Miaka reads and incantation from the scroll, The Universe of Four Gods, and then throws it into flames to be burned (it's part of the ceremony). Miaka knows what she is going to wish for: Konan to be peaceful and the seishi's happiness, Yui and her to be friends again and pass exams, and her and Tama to be together

- When the scroll is thrown into the flames, nothing happened. It didn't work!!!! Amiboshi (who they think is Chiriko) starts playing his flute, and everyone screams in pain. Amiboshi reveals that HE was the one controling the bats when they attacked her that time. He kept everyone unsuspecting that he was actually out to sabotage the ceremony.....he did a really good job!! Tasuki attacks, revealing Amiboshi's character on his shoulder. (the red character for Chiriko was a tatoo) He plays his flute, realeasing a chi that almost kills everyone.

- Another tune starts playing, from somewhere else, that destroys Amiboshi's magic. Amiboshi makes a run for it, but Tasuki and Tamahome pursue him. Miaka and Chichiri follow.

- They corner Amiboshi by a river, and scold him for what he did. Miaka comes along, landing on Tasuki, and tries to knock some sense into Amiboshi. It actually works....but Amiboshi falls into the river, on purpose.............

- Suboshi feels his brother's chi disappear and knows that he has died....Suboshi goes ballistic.

- The seishi go back to the shrine. Miaka, sad about Amiboshi's death, insists that he wasn't an evil person......for he played such lovely tunes.

- The boy appears at the shrine, and plays the tune that broke through Amiboshi's magic!! They all recognize it and talk to the boy. He reveals the character on his foot, he's Chiriko!!!!!!! Chiriko, 13 years old but looks like he's about 8, is brilliant and has been studying for exams this whole time. (funny scene ensues about him taking a civil service exam......it really has no bearing on the story though)

- They try to summon Suzaku again...but Taiisukun appears and yells at all of them......and freaking eveyone out with her ugliness. She says that they can never summon Suzaku because the scroll is burned. Miaka feels VERY bad and says it's all her fault and that she caused everyone pain. Taii chimes in and says that there is another way to call Suzaku, but the journey will be more difficult then before. She accepts the challenge.

- Taii tells her that they first need to go to Hokkan country to the north and venture into Genbu's territory. They need to aquire an object called the Shinzaho...another adventure begins...
