Recently I was awarded one of the Top Performers title.
This year, the company select the best candidates from all the existing I.T. staff
who could obtain the highest ranking in the annual appraisal, and invite them to
enjoy a delicious dinner party with the top management and those senior executives.
Frankly I am not eager to attend such business gathering which is actually spending
my leisure time, also I am not the guy who have the initiative to talk much with people
that I met only for the first time.
I am much appreciated to be awarded by my superior, it is indeed the glorius moment in my
life, I've never been so respected before. The event was posted on the company intranet this
week, a lot of my friends and colleagues working in other dept soon read the articles and I
received lots of congratulations from them.
I really wish to tell this joyful event to my mother and my sisters, who are always in my memory.
How happy would they be if they could enjoy this together with me!

Work @ HSBC
|
|
I've been working in HSBC for more than 5 years now since 2001.
At present I am working in the department which is responsible
to develop or support all the equipment in the bank's self-service
center.
|
It was a long story about how I start my career, how I changed
myself from a network/system administrator to a desktop technical
support and then to a programmer. Little could I shared this with
someone but it will now be my memory as time passed.

Study @ HKBU x UNISA
|
|
I am now studying the Bachelor of Computing at HKBU - School of
Continous Education (SCE), which is held by University of South Australia.
|
My favorite subject is programming. I love doing programs and especially
keen on JAVA, the most intesting is to learn about various algoritms, which
is the foundation of computing.
I really enjoy studying in university, unfortunately the course fee are
quite expensive - AUD 2,500 per subject. Moreover, I need to pay for the
mortgage of my new apartment (which is abuiling), at the same time paying
the rent of the current apartment.
Please read my
Study
page for details.

My official working hours was 08:30 - 17:30 (Mon-Fri, Sat/Sun Off), but
usually I left around 18:30. People in this dept is really hard working, you
can always find people staying in the office even after 20:00, so I seems
to be the lazy guy who don't have much work to do, haha.
