WhenGrasshopper - Yesterday... 一些事、一些情...草蜢
Edmond So, Remus Choy and Calvin Choy were next neighbours when they were kids. They started their friendship in elementary school. After they graduated from high school, Edmond and Cavlin became colleagues. All three of them share the same interest. They love music and dancing. Out of curiosity, they formed Grasshopper and entered the New Talent Singing Award of TVB after they saw the advertisement.

In this contest, they entered into the finals, and this is the first step for Grasshopper to get into show business. Anita Mui enjoyed their performance very much, and later, signed a contract to be their agent. Between 1986 to 1987, Grasshopper went to Taiwan, Singapore, Australia, the United States, and Canada to perform with Anita Mui, Leslie Cheung and Lui Fong. Polygram Records Ltd. also appreciates the talent of Grasshopper in music and dancing, and signed a contract with them.


After The 4th New Talents Singing Contest, Grasshopper became Anita Mui's back dancer, 1988 they entered Polygram Record and released their first album "Grasshopper", The Winner of the contest was Alex To.
草蜢於1985年參加「笫四屆新秀歌唱大賽」，憑一首自己填詞的作品「一起衝」入選決賽，雖然輸給冠軍杜德偉，但憑突出組合的台風被梅豔芳簽為伴舞，並於1998年簽約寶麗金唱片公司出版第一張唱片 - 「草蜢」，同屆參賽者還有季軍蘇永康、周慧敏、李克勤、吳國敬等。

草蜢於89年推出第一本寫真集-歲月燃燒

At 1989, grasshopper got a traffic accident in Hong Kong. In this accident Remus and Calvin were injured but the most serious one was Edmond, he hurt his chin so that he've got problem in talking even though can't sing as well, after this accident grasshopper stopped all their works and after one year they came back again. This magazine was the first interviewed by the media after they returned.

八九年底草蜢因交通意外而影響了他們的歌唱事業，其中以亞細蘇志威的傷勢最為嚴重，令人擔心草蜢是否從此拆伙，於九零年三月草蜢三人康復後便立即重返樂壇，並推出第四張大碟「心中的歌」。此封 面便是草蜢復出後為「玉郎電視」專訪而拍攝的。
