Hong Kong Aikido
Club
We are a non profit-making organization that was
originally established by a group of students
of Sensei Shono Seiki, one of the most prominent
students of Master Hirai Minoru (Click
here for the interview with Hirai Minoru),
the founder of Korindo Aikido.
The members
of our club are extremely indebted to Shono Sensei
for his selfless dedication in teaching Korindo
Aikido in Hong Kong for more than 22 years, which
started from March, 1971, when he was a visiting
lecturer in The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
The goal
of our club is to continue with the work of Shono
Sensei, which is to share our understanding of
Korindo Aikido to people who wish to pursue the
way of Aikido, which, in the words of Master Hirai,
does not have any master, and is free for all
to go along.
