Recruit Volunteer for Division 1 competition 招募第一組泳賽義工

Dear members and parents,

I hope you all had an enjoyable Christmas. It's the time of year again when our club organizes the Division 1 competition at Shing Mun Swimming Pool in Tsuen Wan on 11th Feb 2007. This is an annual event and very important to our club. To retain our venue base status (priority in booking pool space and time), we have to participate in swimming competitions, and organize and run one competition a year.

Feb11th is Sunday and I am aware of Sunday being a family day and the importance of this, however, our club is a non- profit making club and the parents that you see giving their free time helping to run the club are doing it totally on a voluntary basis .

This is a good time for the club members to give something back to the club. We need about 40 people to help with various jobs: including timekeeping, working at the recording table, and runners. 各位家長及泳員：

我想大家應該過了個愉快的聖誕假期吧，現在又是我們泳會協辦二零零七年二月十一日於荃灣城門谷泳池舉行的第一組泳賽。這是一年一次泳會對泳總的服務，也是對於我們泳會來說非常重要的。 為了保持泳會的運作優先租用泳線及時段，泳會須要派出泳員參與泳總所舉辦的賽事，與及每年一次參與協辦泳賽。

二月十一日是星期日，而我也明白到當日是大家的家庭樂日。然而，對於我們這非牟利泳會來說，我衷心希望各位能仗義抽空參與。
