Some say that a virtual friend is an oxymoron and there can never be true friends online.
I learnt a good lesson on Internet friendship from a one-time Net acquaintance who was rather arrogant, bossy and inconsiderate. That experience was very unpleasant, but it helped me better understand the nature of online friendship.
Still I believe that whether you can make good friends depends very much on your attitude. If you are frank and sincere, you can win friends BOTH in real life and in the cyberspace.
Do give it a try and you'll see that real friendship on the Net IS possible.
