一个女人（顾美华）自小生活艰辛，婚后又受丈夫冷落，冒生命危险生下一个女儿（李赛凤）之后丈夫更变本加厉愤而离开，法庭上几经辛苦取得女儿抚养权。但从大陆下来的婆婆却偷偷抱孙女回去汕头，因文革，婆婆被判华东劳改，顾踏遍天涯仍找不到女儿。十年后，才获准申请回汕头的女儿，顾为了筹借十万元的黑钱，甘愿做人情妇，谁知女儿对母亲的并不谅解，加上倍受同学冷眼，在损友怂恿下在夜总会工作。
顾为了女儿，决定离开供养她的男人，却受毒打。再在夜总会寻获女儿，目睹女儿沉沦，悲痛欲绝之欲服毒自杀，死前致电电台节目《尽说心中情》，倾吐一生遭遇，节目主持人白韵琴马上报警追查。。。。。。

The story is about a woman (Koo Mei Wah) who live a very hard life at her teen-ages. After she got married but the husband did not treat her well. she gave birth to a baby girl (Moon Lee) and no longer after that she divorced with her husband.
In the court, she tried her best and finally got the right to raise her own daughter. Later without Koo's permission her mother-in-lawtook herdaughter away from Koo and went back to China without anyone's attention. Koo tried but she couldn't find her daughter and was extremely upset.
After Ten years, Koo finally got the new of her daughter. Koo met her daughter in China and helped her to migrate to Hong Kong. When her daughter knew that she stay with Man, she was angry and with the influence of bad-company, she work in a Night Club. Koo knew this and she left the Man but was being ill-treated. When she know her daughter behaviour, she kill herself. But before that she call-in on Air and she told everything, the DJ immediately call the police to investigate......
