海魚篇分類
碟類珊瑚魚壽命較短，而對於適應力也較弱，在人供飼養時更難於持久。大部份的碟類珊瑚魚，也屬雜食性，但有部份需捕食獨特海洋植物，固在選購碟類魚時，需清楚了解魚的特性。由其那些嘴部份較短較圓的碟魚，其主要食糧是覓食海洋生長的海棉植物。如初學或不懂者，便最好不應選購，才不引致其不能生存在人供的環境中。
碟類珊瑚魚的體形較圓較扁平，其嘴部份凸而長，在其肛門部份有黑色的黑點。因屬於群體性及溫馴，生長於海洋的中上游部份，愛於在珊瑚空隙中游動覓食，固在人供飼養的地方時，也能夠多選不同的種類。其實人供飼養碟魚，也會有其趣味性。
